Central Illinois Mutual was established in 1892 in Pesotum, IL and has grown to be the largest farm mutual located in the State. Our goal is to take the stress off of our policyholders with specialized coverage they can rely on in a time of catastrophe. Our claims department has many years of experience and pride themselves in their prompt service after a major disaster. Our office employees strive to provide our policyholders with the best customer service, enhanced with small town hospitality. We currently represent 82 agencies serving 39 counties in Illinois and have over 10,000 policyholders. We are reinsured with Grinnell Mutual located in Grinnell, IA who is rated "A" by A.M. Best rating company. We always remember that we were established by the community, so we work for the community.
